The following films comprise the Wells Fargo CineDome film library. For a nominal fee any of these films are available for "on-demand viewings". Request a past favorite for your event, birthday party, class field trip or business gathering. Groups must consist of 30 people or more. Please let our group services coordinator, box office or events staff know if you are interested in this unique opportunity.

Take a journey through one the of world's most mysterious regions along the Amazon River of South America in bigger than life imagery on the CineDome's giant 60-foot domed screen. The Academy Award-nominated film takes audiences on an expedition of discovery of the river's wonders, inhabitants and the remarkable healing powers of its plants and animals.

Africa iconAfrica: The Serengeti

As over two million extraordinary animals (including zebras, wildebeests, and antelope) make their way across Africa's vast Serengeti Plains, cameras capture their every move. Africa: The Serengeti takes viewers deep within nature in locations such as Tanzania and Kenya, uncovering the secrets of the Great Migration process and offering insight into the animals' life cycles.

Australia: Land Beyond Time

Over 40 million years ago Australia was part of the super continent, Gondwana. As the massive land mass broke up, Australia drifted north to the warm waters of the Pacific. Nearly the same size as the United States, Australia is the planet’s largest island. Its isolation from other land masses created an environment poised to become populated with species found nowhere else in the world. Australia: Land Beyond Time showcases the Land Down Under and its inhabitants, from furry egg layers to poison eating teddy bears. Length:42 minutes

Cosmic Voyage pulls audiences from their seats and launches them into a spectacular world of extreme dimensions encompassing inner and outer space. The film, narrated by three-time Academy Award-nominee Morgan Freeman, takes viewers on a guided tour across an astounding 42 degrees of magnitude – from quarks, the smallest particles of matter, to superclusters of galaxies. Length: 36 minutes



Dolphins

Come along as two young dolphin researchers travel from the blazing blue waters of the Bahamas to the rugged seas of Patagonia. Featuring inquisitive Atlantic spotted dolphins, acrobatic dusky dolphins and the familiar bottle nosed dolphins, you'll learn how these ambassadors of the sea communicate, interact and play. Length: 41 minutes

Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag

Follow the adventures of Captain John “Otter” Stratton, a young F-15 Eagle fighter pilot, as he participates in the international warfare training exercise, Red Flag. This massive combat simulation takes place in the Nevada desert and is the final tune-up before pilots and their crews are actually sent into combat situations. Participants have often described Red Flag as a much more intense, difficult and dangerous than actual combat missions. Length: 48 minutes


The Human Body

A presentation of The Learning Channel and BBC Worldwide, this film examines a day in the life of the body as it diligently goes about its complex set of everyday chores. Using innovative filmmaking techniques, combined with the latest medical and scientific imaging, it shows us the ordinary miracles that keep our bodies running from morning until night. Length: 43 minutes



Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees

Jane Goodall’s Wild Chimpanzees takes viewers on an extraordinary trip deep into Gombe, Nigeria and across four decades of research to experience the world of the chimpanzee as they’ve never seen it before. Jane Goodall’s Wild Chimpanzees invites viewers to be among the few humans who have ventured into the realm of the wild chimpanzee to see them at close range. Length: 43 minutes



Journey into Amazing Caves

From the deep jungles of South America to the deep reaches of caves, Journey into Amazing Caves takes us into one of earth's last unexplored frontiers. The film is a suspenseful expedition that explores forbidding ice caves, underwater caves and terrestrial caves.


Lewis and Clark: Great Journey West

The film - partially filmed in South Dakota - chronicles a group of explorers - the Corps of Discovery - led by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark - into uncharted territory to find a water passageway to the Pacific Ocean and describe for science the wonders of the West. Length: 42 minutes


The Living Sea

This film is narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep with a soundtrack by recording artist Sting, celebrates the beauty, power and importance of the world's oceans. Filmed in locations around the world, the motion picture explores humankind's relationship with the sea. Length: 40 minutes



Mysteries of Egypt

Mysteries of Egypt unlocks the myths and reveals the masterpieces of this fascinating empire that began some 5,000 years ago. The film captures Egypt for the first time on the giant screen, through a tale that is brought to life by actor Omar Sharif (Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago), who serves as the audience’s guide throughout the film. Length: 40 minutes



Ring of Fire

Feel the heat as this film takes viewers up close to the great circle of volcanoes and seismic activity that rings the Pacific Ocean. This award winning film introduces audiences to these immense volcanic forces and the half-billion people that coexist with them every day around the fiery boundary of the Pacific Rim.

Shackleton's Antarctic Adventure
