Midnight. Not a sound from the pavement. Probing car lights briefly catch the darting image of a feline. Suddenly an explosion of light and music reveals a larger than life junkyard. Once each year the tribe of the Jellicle Cats reunites to celebrate who they are. This is the story of Cats.

Commemorate the 25th anniversary of the longest running show on Broadway and in British theater as the Washington Pavilion presents a return engagement of one of musical theater’s most recognized shows. All of the magic is here as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s megamusical brings the unforgettable characters of Rum Tum Tugger, Grizabella and Bustopher Jones to the stage. Based on T.S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats and with music by Webber, Cats won seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Lighting and Best Costumes.
