Jesus Christ Superstar, the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, exploded onto the scene in 1971 changing the world of musical theater forever. The chart topping score includes such hits as “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Hosanna,” “Everything’s Alright,” “What’s the Buzz,” “Superstar” and “Heaven on Their Mind”. The original groundbreaking production, starring Ted Neeley, who created the role for stage and screen, in the title role and Corey Glover, lead singer for 80s rock band Living Colour, as Judas, is as relevant and timeless as ever. Call the Pavilion box office at (605) 367-6000 or 1-877-WASHPAV or click here to purchase tickets online
