Based on the Academy Award-winning 1968 film of the same name, The Producers, the New Mel Brooks Musical, is the story of down-on-his-luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, a mousy accountant. Together they hatch the ultimate scam: raise more money than needed for a sure-fire Broadway flop and pocket the difference. Their sure-fire theatrical fiasco? None other than the musical Springtime for Hitler.

Everything you've heard is true! "Mel Brooks has put the comedy back into musical comedy. The Producers is the funniest, most fearlessly irreverent thing ever seen on stage!" says USA Today. And now you can experience the biggest Tony Award winner in Broadway history when it comes to the Great Hall of the Washington Pavilion. Direction and choreography by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy for You, Contact, The Music Man).

Over-the-top in every sense, The Producers is probably the most requested musical ever brought to the Pavilion. Full of gags and gimmicks, this show barrels onto the stage like a runaway train and never slows down. Among its record 12 Tony Awards The Producers won Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Choreography and Best Direction of a Musical.

This production contains adult humor and mature themes.
