2009 Schedule  

This family-friendly event includes a 5K Run, 1 and 2 Mile Walk/Run and a Wellness Fair featuring free screenings, health testing, and information as well as many activities to get the kids moving.

Funds raised at the Wellness Festival support educational opportunities within the Kirby Science Discovery Center. Programs directly affected include class visits for Title One schools and Free First Fridays.

Wellness Fair/Expo: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. FREE
The Fair is FREE and open to the public. This is the place to learn about keeping your family healthy. Have a chair massage, check your blood pressure, learn your body mass index, donate to the Community Blood Bank, pick up weight loss tips and more! 

Many FREE activities for kids and adults!

Also during the Wellness Fair:

Free admission to the Kirby Science Discovery Center! Don’t miss this chance to test your skills as a mountain climber, soccer goalie, wheelchair racer and more in the new exhibit gallery Starting Line: Fit for Life
Free CineDome films

1 and 2 Mile Walk Events
The walk events begin at 9 a.m. in front of the CineDome, then head to the bike trail for the majority of the course. Free breakfast for all participants.  Ribbons for all children 12 and under. 

5K Run
$100 cash prize for the overall male and female winners!

Packet Pickup Friday, April 24 from 4-7 p.m. or Saturday morning 7:30-8:30 a.m in the Schulte room--first floor, near the Dakota St. entrance. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
