Pavilion Wellness Festival
Saturday, April 26, 2008
This family-friendly event includes a 5K Run, 1 and 2 Mile Run/Walk and a Wellness Fair featuring free screenings, health testing, and information as well as many activities to get the kids moving.
All funds raised at the Wellness Festival will benefit the Kirby Science Discovery Center.
Wellness Fair: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. FREE
The Fair is FREE and open to the public. With something for all ages this is the place to learn about keeping your family healthy. Have a chair massage, check your blood pressure, learn your body mass index, donate to the Community Blood Bank, pick up weight loss tips and more!
Many FREE activities for kids and adults!

Run/Walk Events
The Run/Walk events begin at 9 a.m. in front of the CineDome, then head to the bike trail for the majority of the course. Free continental breakfast for all and participant ribbons for all children 12 and under.
5K Run
$100 cash prize for the overall male and female winners! Age-group medals.
1 and 2 Mile Run/Walk
Not up for 3 miles? Choose the 1 or 2 mile option.

Packet Pickup Friday, April 25 from 4-7 p.m. or Saturday morning 7:30-8:30 a.m. South side of the 2nd floor lobby at the information desk. Pre-registration is strongly recommended.
Individuals with special needs who require accommodations in order to participate please contact our ADA Coordinator at 605.367.7397 ext. 2319 or jredmond@washingtonpavilion.org at least one week prior to the event so that reasonable accommodations can be made.
Registration and Entry fees:
The box office will soon begin taking reservations in person, over the phone and online. Until then, registrations will be accepted by mail, simply download and mail the registration form.
Unless otherwise noted all registration fees include a t-shirt, participant ribbons for all children 12 and under and age group awards. Don’t forget speaker Molly Barker, free Science Center admission, free film showings, and the Wellness Fair!
Individual Registration: $25 if received by April 20, $30 beginning April 21.
Student rate: $15 if received by April 20, $20 beginning April 21.
Family rate: $50 if received by April 20, $60 beginning April 21.
Includes two t-shirts, extras available for purchase.
