Sioux Falls, SD Today the Washington Pavilion, in partnership with sponsor Sanford Health, opened Health Quest by Sanford, an entire floor of brand-new health and wellness-focused exhibits in the Kirby Science Discovery Center.

The hands-on, interactive exhibits provide patrons of all ages opportunities to explore how the human body works. These fun and engaging exhibits include a life-sized ambulance, a 21-foot human body complete with supersized organs and much more. The floor has a dedicated infant and toddler space, designed to encourage movement and provide visual, auditory, cognitive and tactile stimulation.

“We are very excited about this entire floor full of incredible new exhibits,” said Darrin Smith, Washington Pavilion President & CEO. “This is something that Sioux Falls has never seen before and we know kids and parents alike are going to love it!”

“At Sanford Health, we are dedicated to the work of health and healing,” said Paul Hanson, Executive Vice President, Sanford Health - Sioux Falls Region. “What better way to start a healthy lifestyle than with interactive and educational exhibits for children? That’s exactly what we have here with Health Quest by Sanford Health.”

The exhibits were produced by M. Catton and Co, LLC.

The new Health Quest exhibits complement the fit Zone, also on the fourth floor of the Kirby Science Discovery Center and sponsored by Sanford Health.

Health Quest by Sanford is now open to the public. Daily admission rates apply, free to Washington Pavilion members. Learn more at www.washingtonpavilion.org/healthquest
