Summer Camp 2020 Safety Protocols

We are committed to holding our summer camp season in the safest way possible for our students, their families and our employees. Below you will find a link to Pavilion-wide adjustments as well a list of summer camp specific adjustments that we feel will help keep our students and staff healthy.

We hope to see you all this summer but understand that circumstances may not allow that. Please reach out to us at 605-731-2350 if you have any questions or concerns.

Operational Adjustments 

  • Rooms will be used once a day when possible to allow for proper sanitizing and disinfecting
    • If not possible, rooms will be disinfected between camps
  • Students will have individual supplies when possible to limit the sharing of supplies
  • Additional tables/chairs will be used to allow for recommended distance between children
  • Camps will have between 6-15 students
  • Rooms will be chosen based on size of camp
  • Designated drop off/pick up –1st floor lobby
    • Designated sites will be communicated each week with other camp information
  • Preschool camps will be spread out as much as possible and toys will be used on a rotation to allow for proper disinfection

Before Camp

  • Teachers will ensure that student workstations are proper distance apart. Disinfectant will be provided to use throughout the camp as needed. 
  • Encourage parents/guardians to take their child’s temperature and screen for symptoms before coming to the facility.

Check In/Out

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be set up at the entrance of the facility, so that children can sanitize their hands upon their arrival.
  • Children will be greeted in 1st floor lobby at designated drop-off/pick-up site.
  • We encourage the same parent or designated person to drop off and pick up the child every day when possible

After Camp

  • Classroom must be cleaned after class each day by teacher. Workstations and supplies will be disinfected for the next day.

This promotional offer requires the purchase of any three Washington Pavilion classes, camps or workshops at their regular list price to receive a free class, camp or workshop of equal or lesser value. All four offerings must be scheduled at the time of purchase. Offer only available for over the phone and in-person orders, and is not available online at this time.

Class Cancellation Policy

Participant Cancellation: Partial refunds will be issued to participants who cancel a minimum of 14 days prior to the first day of class (a processing fee of $10 will be kept on all refunds). No refunds will be issued for any cancellations made within 14 days of the first day of class.

Program Cancellation: If a minimum enrollment has not been reached one week prior to the first session, we must cancel the program. Customers will be contacted by telephone or email. If we are unable to accommodate a suitable transfer to a class in the same season, we will issue a full refund.
