The SDSO season finale features world-renowned pianist Emanuel Ax performing Beethoven’s beloved “Emperor” Concerto. This performance culminates Ax’s week-long residency of concerts at schools and hospitals. Beethoven’s glorious Symphony No. 9—best known for its culminating “Ode to Joy” – launches the SDSO into its 100th season!
