2018 is the 100th anniversary of Leonard Bernstein’s birth. Join the celebration as the SDSO presents this monumental work. Is it an opera? A piece of musical theater? Whatever you call it—it is a whimsical, comical, satirical reinterpretation of Voltaire’s masterpiece, as relevant today as it was in the 18th century.
