Visual art meets the orchestra in this concert, which showcases how a composer brings paintings to life through music. Adam Schoenberg’s Finding Rothko pays tribute to the abstract expressionist Mark Rothko. Modest Mussorgsky’s famous Pictures at an Exhibition is a colorful musical depiction of art by Victor Hartmann.
