The mission of the Washington Pavilion is to inspire, educate, entertain and enrich our region by creating opportunities for all to explore and experience the arts and science. Our vision is to be the region’s premier arts and science destination, inspiring lifelong discovery and inclusive experiences.

We have a variety of seasonal hours. Please click here for current hours for the Visual Arts Center, Kirby Science Discovery Center, Leonardo's Cafe and more.

For museum attendees, children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For performances, all attendees regardless of age must purchase a ticket unless otherwise noted.

First, check your ticket. If you do not have your ticket, check our website by looking through the performance listings. Some performances have pre-show experiences, such as Performance Insights. Or, you can call our Box Office at 605-367-6000.

Each Pavilion Performance Series show holds three performances. We split those performances between the Director, Producer and Agent Series so that all subscribers get equal primary and secondary performances. Do you have a conflict with your designated show date? No problem! Subscribers enjoy FREE ticket exchange between the performances.

The Washington Pavilion Box Office and website are the only authorized distributors of tickets for Washington Pavilion performances. While tickets purchased through secondary marketplaces and ticket resellers may be valid tickets, the Washington Pavilion cannot guarantee their authenticity or admission. If tickets are found to be fraudulent, patrons risk being denied admission, refunds and/or exchanges. Please use discretion if you decide to purchase tickets through a ticket reseller.

If you bring a child in a stroller, ramps are available outside the Washington Pavilion and elevators are available, including within the museums. Changing tables are available in men's and women's restrooms. A mother's room is located on the south side of our 3rd floor with a changing table and space for nursing/lactation.

Pavilion Bucks can be redeemed for memberships, performance or concert series subscriptions, and single tickets to performances. They also can be used to purchase Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center and Wells Fargo CineDome admission. Pavilion Bucks can be purchased in any dollar amount and do not expire. Pavilion Bucks can be mailed to the gift giver or recipient; an additional fee may apply. Please allow 7-10 days.

You are more than welcome to take photographs in the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the Visual Arts Center unless otherwise noted. Photographs are allowed in our lobbies, but we request cameras be turned off during a performance as many groups do not allow photography or videography at that time.
