Washington Pavilion Hosts Spooky Science: Explore Your Senses

Sioux Falls, S.D. (10/10/2017) Join the Washington Pavilion for their annual Halloween event -- Spooky Science on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale for the event which features sensational and spooky activities for all ages at the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the Visual Arts Center.

Enjoy exploring the wonders of science and your senses as we experiment, discover and create through hands-on activities at the Kirby Science Discovery Center. Our Spooky Science favorites will return including slime, candy, story time and the South Dakota State University SciSquad. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Additionally, the Visual Arts Center is offering several activities from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. to provide a spooky art spectacular! Scavenger hunts, flashlight tours and two drawing classes including “How to Draw a Monster” and Ballerina Figure Drawing featuring a Moscow Ballet ballerina, Mariia Skoruk.

Admission to Spooky Science is free for Washington Pavilion members. This year’s Spooky Science is part of Super 2nd Saturday which offers special programming and events each month.
