Q. What is the mission and vision of the Washington Pavilion?

A. The mission of the Washington Pavilion is to educate, entertain, inspire, and enrich the community by making arts and science part of our lives.
The vision of the Washington Pavilion is to continue serving as the region’s premier arts, science and cultural institution and a national model for multifaceted, community-supported institutions.

Q. What are the hours of operation?

A. We have a variety of seasonal hours. Please click here for current hours for the Visual Arts Center, Kirby Science Discovery Center, Leonardo's Cafe and more.

Q. Are there age limitations?

A. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Q. I have tickets for a show. What time does the performance start?

A. First, check your ticket. If you do not have your ticket, check our website by looking through the performance listings. Some performances have pre-show experiences, such as Performance Insights. Or, you can call our Box Office at 605-367-6000.

Q. What's the difference between the Director's and Producer's Pavilion Performance Series?

A. Each Pavilion Performance Series show holds two performances. We split those performances between the Director's and Producer's Series so that all subscribers get equal primary and secondary performances. Do you have a conflict with your designated show date? No problem! Subscribers enjoy FREE ticket exchange between the performances.

Q. Do you have a seating chart I can look at before purchasing tickets?

Q. Can I purchase show tickets from other websites?

A. The Washington Pavilion Box Office and website are the only authorized distributors of tickets for Washington Pavilion performances. While tickets purchased through secondary marketplaces and ticket resellers may be valid tickets, the Washington Pavilion cannot guarantee their authenticity or admission. If tickets are found to be fraudulent, patrons risk being denied admission, refunds and/or exchanges. Please use discretion if you decide to purchase tickets through a ticket reseller.

Q. Who do I call about membership or donations?

A. Call our Membership Coordinator at (605) 731-2351 for membership or our Director of Development at (605) 731-2311 for donations.
 

Q. What are Pavilion Bucks?

A. Pavilion Bucks can be redeemed for memberships, performance or concert series subscriptions, and single tickets to performances. They also can be used to purchase Kirby Science Discovery Center and Wells Fargo CineDome admission. Pavilion Bucks can be purchased in any dollar amount and do not expire. To order, click here, call 605-367-6000 or 1-877-927-4728 or visit the Washington Pavilion Box Office in person. Pavilion Bucks can be mailed to the gift giver or recipient; an additional fee may apply. Please allow 7-10 days.

Q. Can I take photographs in the Washington Pavilion?

A. You are more than welcome to take photographs in the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the Visual Arts Center. Photographs are allowed in our lobbies, but we request cameras be turned off during a performance as many groups do not allow photography or videography at that time. Please call the Box Office with specific questions at 605-367-6000.
