The senior show is an important capstone that celebrates the hard work of sixteen graduating artists at Augustana University. The artistic and academic paths of these seniors have been as diverse as their personalities. Within this group you will find athletes, musicians, scientists and social scientists; you will find students who traveled halfway around the world to arrive at Augustana, and others who stayed close to home in order to travel far; you will find students who tackled multiple majors in this liberal arts setting, and others who took the leap and embraced the seventy-eight credit BFA professional degree. They have aspirations of becoming professional artists, teachers, designers, arts advocates and museum professionals, amongst other goals. Regardless of their ultimate vocations, the future of the visual arts is in good hands.
