Husby Performing Arts Center features two state-of-the-art theaters and a flexible black box space:

The beautiful Mary W. Sommervold Hall is the centerpiece of the Husby Center with seating for 1,800 people and an elegant, lush setting unlike any other space in the region. The Mary W. Sommervold Hall offers programming from Broadway tours to Yo Yo Ma to Tim Allen. The hall's stage also is a unique space to host guest performances, wedding receptions, corporate meetings, dinners and other special occasions. (Special rates for stage-only rentals.) 

The intimate 300-seat Belbas Theater, adjacent to the Mary W. Sommervold Hall, is the perfect spot for a concert, lecture, wedding or business presentation. The Belbas is equipped with state-of-the-art AV equipment.

The Schulte Black Box Theater is a great spot for receptions, workshops, meetings and rehearsals. This beautiful space offers 20-foot ceilings, exposed Sioux Quartzite walls, optionally displayed full dance studio mirrors, a lighting structure for events, and video and audio equipment.

For 100 years, the 686-seat Orpheum Theater Center has been a landmark in downtown Sioux Falls. Countless people have enjoyed the beauty of the space and the events that have been held here. 

The Orpheum Theater Center located at 315 N. Phillips Avenue is a multi-purpose facility composed of three rental spaces in one location: the 100-year-old Historic Orpheum Theater, the Anne Zabel Studio Theater and the Classroom. The Historic Orpheum Theater was built in 1913 and seats 686. The Anne Zabel Studio Theater is able to house up to 450 people reception-style or 200 people banquet-style. The Classroom space can accommodate 100 people theater-style.

The three spaces are all connected by a large lobby and concessions area, and the building also boasts an outdoor patio area.

The Everist Gallery, the site of the former Washington High School library, is a grand space with high ceilings that provides a beautiful view of downtown Sioux Falls. A perfect spot for fundraising, receptions, retirement parties, formal dinners or holiday parties.

With three floors of open spaces anchored by two grand, winding stairways, the Washington Pavilion lobbies are popular, flexible spaces that can accommodate functions of all sizes from small receptions to large trade shows.

Our Executive Boardroom, combined with Leonardo’s catering, is a great place to hold your next big meeting or small conference.

The Green Room is used as a theatrical lounge for shows in the Mary W. Sommervold Hall but also offers an intimate setting with a private restroom and coffee/kitchen area.

With three floors of hands-on science exhibits, this space is unique in the region. The Center can host a variety of groups, and most areas can accommodate catering stations. It's the perfect place to hold a company holiday party, social hour or a unique wedding reception.

With 164 seats and amazing video and sound, the CineDome is an awesome place to hold your next presentation, meeting or even to enjoy a private showing from our in-house collection of feature attractions.

The Café, located on the first floor of Washington Pavilion, is a great place to host your next party. With a vast selection of food, Leonardo's will complement any event.

Two multi-purpose rooms on the third floor of the Pavilion are excellent spaces for breakout sessions or smaller meetings.
