Weekend Fun for Families
Keep your kids inspired all year long! Join us for interactive art and science projects led by our museum educators:
Saturdays | 1–4 p.m. | Jack’s Imagination Lab
Discover rotating STEAM-based activities and experiments designed for all ages.
Sundays | 1–4 p.m. | Children’s Studio, Visual Arts Center
Get creative with art-making, painting, sculpture and more.
These drop-in sessions are included with museum admission or membership — no registration required!

School’s Out Maker Zone
No school? No problem! Join us for special hands-on art and science activities in our maker spaces during Sioux Falls School District in-service days! Each session is included with paid admission or membership, and children must be accompanied by a parent. Activities rotate by date and theme, offering creative and engaging experiences for kids and families alike.
