TCHAIKOVSKY’S ‘PATHETIQUE’ SYMPHONY

Sibelius described the mood of his sixth symphony as “cold spring water”. Tchaikvosky’s Symphony No. 6 was the result of a creative explosion. Between these two great symphonies, SDSO premieres a work by University of South Dakota composition professor Paul Lombardi.
