It’s time for science, art and stars after hours! Experience the Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center and Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium during our adults-only (21+) Cosmos and Cocktails event!
Run wild in three floors of interactive science exhibits, marvel at artwork in eight art galleries, sip on tasty cocktails like the “Galaxy Lemonade” and so much more — without the kiddos!
This exciting evening includes:
- Unlimited access to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and Visual Arts Center, where fun engineering-themed, self-guided activities will be available, including KEVA Plank Tower Challenge, Strongest Shape Challenge and Waterproof Your Roof.
- Specialty cocktails, wine and beer available for purchase. A fun mocktail, too!
- Gourmet ice cream, fresh popcorn, wraps, sandwiches, candy and cold beverages available at Parlour!
- A special tour of the Visual Arts Center with our curators at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Join us in the Everist Gallery to view the significant “WOMEN: A Century of Change” traveling exhibition by National Geographic.
- Showings of the new full-dome film “Cities of the Future” in the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium, premiering tonight at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Imagine stepping 50 years into the future and finding smart, 100% sustainable cities. You can when you see this movie on our giant screen!
