Ag Day

In celebration of National Agriculture Week, March 18-24, 2018, the Washington Pavilion will be hosting its 15th Annual Ag Day. This event gives children and families a wonderful opportunity to learn about agriculture’s significance – in South Dakota and beyond. Our exhibits are exciting, educational hands-on activities – great for the whole family! A free lunch is offered, featuring South Dakota-made products.

The 2018 Arts Night Experience

Arts Night is the premier arts event of the year and an annual benefit art auction to raise funds to maintain the success of the Visual Arts Center's programs and exhibitions. The event includes a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and the auction.

Sidewalk Arts Festival

The Sidewalk Arts Festival (SWAF) is a FREE outdoor event with over 300 vendor booths featuring the region’s best fine art, folk art and craft artisans.

Design Challenge

Compete in our annual Design Challenge! Each year, we will select a new theme. Gather your team of two to five students, register, and join us in the fun!

Spooky Science is an annual fun, non-scary, family-friendly event hosted by the Kirby Science Discovery Center at the Washington Pavilion. For two days, the Washington Pavilion is transformed to reflect the year’s theme.
